I know this may sound so dumb

But you are one year older

You must really feel it some

To bake a birthday cake for you

Now that would have been, the Kat’s meow

But the heat from all those burning candles

Is more than the fire Dept. would allow

So I guess you’re stuck with this birthday wish

That I have written just for you

For me to mention your actual age

Probably is taboo

So let’s just say you’re forty plus nine
