Two young people so much in love
Blessed by God’s hands from above
Their love was unique in every way
Exchanging of vows on Valentines Day
You may now kiss the bride was heard
Hearts now joined with God’s written word
I love you my darling so refine
For ever and always be my Valentine
Her eyes they glittered bright as a star
You are my Venus, that’s what you are
For ever and always your heart I’ll hold
For your love comes back to me at least tenfold
She said, your love to me means everything
Unconditional love bonded in these wedding rings
Till death do we part and beyond time
Forever and always you'll be my Valentine
Five years of marriage have come and gone
And still their love is going strong
Five roses this time is what she would get
She knew her lover would not forget
Five years quickly turns into ten
And still so in love as way back then
Perpetual passion love remains sublime
Forever and always these two beloved valentines
With their silver anniversary upon them now
Found them renewing, again, their wedding vows
As spirited now, as love way back then
Their devoted love truly did transcend
Leaving the silver behind and reaching gold
Withering bodies showing signs of age unfold
Renewing wedding vows, perhaps for the last time
Forever and always-in love, these two Valentines
On the eve of their sixtieth anniversary
The old man died from a massive heart coronary
Behind his wife found a written note
And these few words is what he wrote
You have been my wife for all these years
Sharing happiness and shedding tears
I love you my darling, on you my light I’ll shine
Forever and always I’ll be your Valentine
Feeling so lonely and broken hearted
Missing her lover that had just departed
The Angel of death knocked on her door
It’s you that God is now called out for
She died peacefully in her sleep that night
A note clutched in her hand so tight
I love you my darling, on us God’s light will shine
Forever and always we’ll be heavenly Valentines
