Seafood Chowder
1/4 cup finely cut bacon or salt pork
1/4 cup minced onion
2 - 7 oz. cans minced or whole lobster, pieces of a firm white fish, such as cod or
monkish.
1 pkg salad shrimp
2 cups finely diced raw potatoes
1/2 cup water
2 cups milk
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Sauté bacon and onion in large kettle.
Drain seafood
Add potatoes and water to onions and bacon.
Cook until potatoes are tender, about 10 minutes.
Just before serving, add seafood, milk salt and pepper.
Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.
Serve immediately.
