Three Layer Fruit Jello Salad
Pear, Cream Cheese and Pineapple
1 package cherry Jell-O
1 cap whipping Cream
1 package lemon Jell-O
8 ounce, package cream cheese
1 package Lime Jell-O
1 No. 2 can crushed pineapple
6 pear halves and Juice and juice
8 maraschino cherries
This is a three-layer salad to be made in two bread pans or three small loaf pans.
1st layer: Dissolve package of cherry Jell-O in one cup of boiling water and add
one cup of pear juice. Place pear halves in pan face down with cherry in middle of
each pear.
(Three in each pan down center). Pour Jell-O over pears and put in refrigerator to
jell.
2nd layer: Dissolve lemon Jell-O in one cup of boiling water and add one cup of cold
water.
Let thicken in refrigerator. Whip one cup of whipping cream and fold in Jell-O.
Add cream cheese which has been left at room temperature.
Pour over red layer and allow chilling until set.
3rd layer: Dissolve lime Jell-O in one cup of boiling water and add one cup of pineapple
juice.
Add crushed pineapple and pour over cheese layer. Chill until set
When un-molded, the red layer will be on top, the white in the center and the green at the
bottom.
Will make 18 to 20 servings
