ELFIES MINNESOTA VENISON HOT DISH

Recipe for: 6 servings

Ingredients:

1 Lbs. Lean ground Venison
1 cup Wild rice uncooked
1/2 Lbs. Fresh mushrooms sliced
1/2 cup Green pepper chopped
1/2 cup Onion chopped
1 1/2 cup    Celery chopped
3 tbs. Soy sauce
2 tsp. Beef bouilon
1 1/2 cup Cup Water

Procedure:

1. Rinse and soak wild rice in hot water for up to 3 hours.
2. Drain.
3. In a 4 quart saucepan, cover rice with water, Bring to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes. Drain any excess water.
4. Brown ground beef in a nonstick skillet. Drain any fat or juices.
5. Combine cooked ground beef with remaining ingredients in a large casserole dish. Mix thoroughly.
6. Cover and bake 1 hour at 350* F. Uncover and bake 15 additional minutes
