ELFIES 4 LAYER VENISON CASSEROLE

Recipe for: 4 servings

Ingredients:

1 Lbs. Ground Venison
1 med. Onion chopped
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
2 cups Instant rice
1 can Whole kernel corn (15.25 oz)
DO NOT drain
1 Large can of one of the following
Your choice
Tomato puree
Tomato sauce
Diced tomatoes (at least 29 oz)

Procedure:

1. In electric skillet add ground Venison with chopped onion,

    cook until meat is done/onion is tender. Drain.
2. Add ingredients in the skillet in this order:
3. First layer - Meat
4. Second Layer - Rice
5. Third Layer - Corn
6. Fourth Layer - Tomatoes, sauce or puree
7. Place lid on skillet, set control to medium/high.
8. You MIGHT have to add a little water (1/2 to 3/4 cup) to ''casserole'',

    so it doesn't burn or become too dry. Cook until rice is tender...takes about 5-10 minutes in my skillet.
9. **Optional - I use 2 regular size cans (15.25 oz) of Pizza Sauce sometimes

    and then top with shredded cheese... it gives it that extra flavor
10. Beef can be substituted
