Turkey Meatballs in Wine Sauce


Delicious meatballs Serves 5.
1- 1 egg white
2- 1 cup bread crumbs
3- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
4- 2TB milk
5- 1/4 tsp thyme
6- salt, pepper
7- 1 lbs ground turkey (can use ground beef)
8- 2 cups fresh mushrooms
9- 1 cup water
10- 2TB cornstarch
11- 1 tsp chicken boullion
12- 1/3 cup dry white wine
13- 2 TB snipped parsley
14- Hot noodles

1- Spray 13 X 9 baking pan with cooking spray. In medium bowl stir together egg white, bread crumbs, half the onion, milk, thyme, salt and pepper. Add turkey; mix well. Shape mixture into 1" meatballs. Place meatballs in prepared pan.

2- Bake uncovered in 350 oven for 30 - 35 minutes.

3- Cook mushrooms anmd remaining onion and cook until onion is tender. In a bowl, stir together cold water, cornstarch and boullion. Stir mixture into mushroom mixture. Cook and stir until bubbly and thickened. Stir in meatballs and wine; heat thru. Stir in parsley and pour over noodles.
