Sweet and
Sour Chicken
Ingredients:
1 Chicken, cut up into serving pieces
1/2 C. Flour
1 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Black Pepper
Sauce
1 (13 1/2 oz.) can Pineapple Chunks
1 C. Sugar
1 Tbsp. Cornstarch
3/4 C. Cider Vinegar
1 Tbsp. Soy Sauce
1/4 tsp. Ginger
1 chicken Bouillon Cube
1 large Green Pepper, cut into strips
Preparation:
Wash
chicken dry, and coat with flour. Heat oil and brown the chicken. Sprinkle with salt and
pepper. Drain pineapple and add enough after to the drained liquid to make 1 1/4 cups. Mix
sauce ingredients and boil for 2 minutes. Pour this over the chicken. Add pineapple and
green pepper. Bake until tender, about 30 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees
