FROZEN STRAWBERRY DESSERT

3 egg whites, unbeaten
1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen strawberries, thawed (may use a little more)
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 c. granulated sugar

 

In a large bowl, mix and beat for 2 minutes, the egg whites. Add the remaining ingredients. Mix thoroughly with egg whites, then fold in:

 

1 lg. container Cool Whip, thawed

 

Crush 1 package of Pecan Sandies cookies. Press 1/2 of the crumbs in the bottom of large baking dish or cake pan (8x15 inches). Add strawberry mixture and cover with remainder of crumbs. Cover and freeze until ready to serve.
