ALMOND TOFFEE CANDIES

35 Saltine crackers (about)
4 cups Butter
1 cup Packed Brown Sugar
1 bag 11 1/2 Oz Chocolate Chips
1 cup Chopped Almonds

1. Almond Toffee Candies
2. Line a 10 x 15 inch pan with foil
3. Place crackers in a single line to cover bottom,breaking crackers to make fit if necessary
4. In a medium sauce pan combine butter and brown sugar
5. Heat and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil.
6. Boil gently for 3 minutes.
7. Pour over crackers.
8. Bake at 375 degrees for 5 minutes
9. Remove from oven; sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over crackers and let stand a few minutes.
10. when chips have melted spread chocolate out over crackers.
11. Sprinkle almonds over chocolate,pressing in lightly.
12. Cool pan on wire rack;cover and chill.
13. To serve cut into squares
