| Oatmeal-Yogurt Pancakes Ingredients 1 egg or 2 egg whites 1 container (6 ounces) Yoplait ® Original tropical peach or other flavor lowfat yogurt 1/2 cup old-fashioned or quick-cooking oats 1/2 cup Gold Medal® all-purpose flour 1 cup skim milk 1 tablespoon sugar 1 teaspoon baking powder 2 teaspoons vegetable oil 1/2 teaspoon baking soda Additional yogurt, if desired For each pancake, pour about 3 tablespoons batter from tip of large spoon or from pitcher onto hot griddle. Cook until puffed and dry around edges. Turn and cook other sides until golden brown. Serve with additional yogurt. Instructions 1. Heat griddle or skillet over medium heat or to 375°. Griddle is ready when a few drops of water sprinkled on surface jump around. Grease heated griddle with margarine if necessary. 2. Beat egg in large bowl, using hand beater; stir in remaining ingredients except additional yogurt. (For thinner pancakes, stir in an additional 2 to 4 tablespoons skim milk.) |
