Lemon Poppy Seed Bread
Serves 12.
1 pkg. lemon cake mix (with pudding)
1 pkg. instant lemon pudding
1 cup hot water
½ cup oil
¼ cup poppy seeds
4 eggs
Citrus Glaze
Preheat oven to 350
Mix together all ingredients and beat for 4 minutes.
Divide batter into 2 large or 4 small bread pans.
Bake 50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Citrus Glaze
1 ¼ cup sifted powdered sugar
2 tbsp. orange juice
1 tsp. lemon juice
Mix ingredients together. When bread comes out of oven,
poke holes in top with toothpick and spoon over glaze.
