1/4 c. Brown Sugar
2 tbsp. soft butter
1 egg
1 c. candied cherries (quartered)
2 c. raisins (soaked in 1/3 c. apple juice for 1 hour)
2/3 c. flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground cloves
3/4 tsp cinnamon
3/4 tsp baking soda
Drain raisins & mix with cherries, Mix dry ingredients -
set aside. Cream butter, egg and sugar, add dry mixture to creamed mixture,
add fruit and mix well. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at
350 for 12-15 minutes, remove to cooling rack. Store in air-tight container.
(Freeze very well)
