Oh No!
I
think I hear him! Yes, I do!
Oh no, Id better hide!
I grab Mr. Teddy and run real fast
Across the kitchen tiles, I slide
Is
that the car door? Oh, it is!
I guess Id better hurry!
I run through the living room
Up the stairs, I quickly scurry
I hear
the key! Its in the lock!
Oh, dear, hes much too fast!
I turn the corner and enter my room
I made it up here really fast
Voices!
Yes, I hear them now!
Daddys voice seems so loud!
I jump on my bed and cover up
My stuffed animals start to crowd
Oh
its footsteps! Hes on the stairs!
Hes coming up to check on me!
I hide as quietly as I can
Asleep, Im supposed to be
Angry!
His voice seems so mean!
Mommys sleeping in her room!
I shut my eyes so very tight
I feel safe in my blanket-made womb
The
door! Oh, no, its opening!
I think hes in my room now!
My little body shakes real hard
He smells so very fowl!
Is
that? Yes! I think it is!
Daddy stinks so much like beer!
Mr. Teddy holds me very tight
As I kiss away his tears
A
tickle! Yes, I felt his hand!
His fingers tickle against my thigh!
I know my Daddy loves me much
But this makes me want to cry
He
loves me! Yes, hes teaching me!
Id be lost in my adult life!
Daddy says he makes sure Im ready
To make a wonderful wife
Sharp
pains! Oh, yes, they hurt so much!
Its excruciating at this part!
But, eventually the pain will numb
The pain left
is in my heart

Note from author...
Note: This isn't a true
story,
just a poem. My Daddy was and is
the most amazing father in the world
and would never have done this.
My knowledge of this topic is
from some friends who have had
to live through such a thing.
