The
first time that I saw her
Twas by
a babbling brook
She was
perched against an old oak tree
Reading
from a book
She was
a radiant beauty
She
possessed that inner poise
Besides
being gorgeous to look at
She was
one of life’s, more pleasant joys
I
wanted to get a little closer
To get
a better look
She
glanced my way one single time
Oh my
God that's all it took
Her
eyes were so alluring
She
captivated my inner soul
She was
like an Angel
With a
heart as pure as gold
Her
hair was a high gloss ebony
Cascading
far down her back
My
heart was pounding inside my chest
As if I
was having an anxiety attack
My
hands both got all sweaty
Water
beads formed upon my brow
I was
in a state of complete euphoria
I asked God, Lord, what should I do now
It was
like the answer came from heaven
A
heartfelt calming came over me
I heard
a voice inside my head
Saying,
“My Son, this is your destiny”
I knew
that God had spoken
And I
knew just what he meant
I
spoke, “I feel that I should know you”
She
said, “I am your angel God has sent”
She
said, “Come sit down beside me”
“Let
me take you to my breast”
God is
giving me eternal rest
She
held me while I closed my eyes
I could
smell her heavenly scent
As my
spirit was being heaven sent
