Free At Last

You were the curse that once hung over me

But thank God now you are no more

It gives me great strength and satisfaction

As I watched your sorrowful ass walk out the door

I couldn’t stand your lying and cheating

I hated the pain from beatings you inflicted on me

I am so happy you are gone now from my life

For now I can live and love and be free
