A/C is running fine. House is cold. It works that way if you turn the thermostat to the right setting?

I thought I was done for today. Well I was – wife just told me we are going over to work on the carpets – more vacuuming and cleaning. My backs a hurtin more already.

Well we have new faucets. We have a ton more lights now. I am going to buy stock in a light bulb company!

We have new tile on the bathroom floors. We have new light switches all over the house. We have new wall plugs all over the garage. We have two rooms painted all over and one on the way. That kitchen ceiling – I told ya that paintin job was comin. It’ll take a tall ladder to reach that sucker. There go my feet startin to ache!

Dang, the toilet in my bathroom is still leaking. We done put a new wax gasket and tightened up all of everything. Still leakin on my new tile. I think the porcelain is cracked. New toilet comin!

Our final moving date just got moved up a week because of the wife’s business. This is gonna get rude! We have spent 11 days now gettin that house ready to move into and it ain’t done yet.

Them carpets! She done vacuumed them all over the house about 5 times each. Need more vacuuming says she! I says lets clean ‘em! She says they are not ready! More vacuumin needed.

Seems this new vacuum machine sucks stuff up into a bowl of water and she don’t think nothin is clean till the water don’t get dirty from all the vacuumin! That is a good machine I tell you. I think it’s suckin up the carpet a bit at a time now though?

Gonna wind up with tile or new carpet in the living room I bet!

I done spent the better part of a good down payment on my house in the country, which I ain’t found yet, just moving. And we ain’t done yet.


This was much simpler the last time I moved. I was single though. Box it - call a mover - move it - take all the time ya need to unbox it.

I think there are a few boxes round here someplace what ain’t unpacked yet. Must not have needed what was in ‘em? Simple it was! Wife don’t do simple I figgered out!!
