I Pledge
Allegiance
Whomever it was who said,
That our children should not pledge,
Allegiance to the flag of this great
land,
Could have never fought in a war,
On a far and distant shore,
To protect the rights for which our
flag stands.
For years the red, white, and blue,
Have stood for freedom for me and you,
And as children we pledged allegiance
to it each day,
Every one has their freedom of speech,
That is what our fore fathers teach,
Dont take our right to pledge the
flag away!
I pledge allegiance to the flag, of the
And to the republic for which it
stands,
One nation, under God, indivisible,
With liberty and justice for all.
I cant help it I shed a tear,
Every time that I hear,
The Star Spangled Banner whenever it is
played,
Or when a child puts his hand on his
heart,
To pledge allegiance when each school
day starts,
So please dont take that pride
away!
I pledge allegiance to the flag, of the
And to the republic for which it
stands,
One nation, under God, indivisible,
With liberty and justice for all.
